Senior Facility Maintenance Manager

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of our properties
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate maintenance teams and external trades to ensure seamless property performance
• Develop, manage, and monitor maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
• Implement and improve facility management policies and procedures
• Conduct regular property inspections to uphold quality standards
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Utilize Inhouse property management software, to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history while analysing and look for opportunities of improvement.
• Lead large-scale capital projects, including equipment replacements and tenant improvements
• Build positive relationships with the team, tenants, vendors, and contractors
• Contribute to long-term capital planning, budget preparation, and reporting

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience leading building operations and maintenance teams
• Proven success in facilities or property management, preferably within Edmonton or Alberta
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Relevant certifications such as Building Operator Certification or Facilities Management preferred
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and facility management software
• A high commitment to customer service with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Willingness to respond to urgent issues outside of regular hours as needed
